SkyWall100 was on display in South Korea as OpenWorks continue working in partnership with STX, South Korea’s leading counter-UAS solution provider.
The OpenWorks team will be presenting the SkyWall100 drone defence system at the Home Office Security and Policing event 2017.
Representatives from a number of US military groups witnessed the SkyWall100 system in action at the JIDO Hard Kill Challenge event, held in the desert of the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico, USA.
The OpenWorks team will be exhibiting their award winning SkyWall100 drone defence systems at the Counter Drone Conference in London on the 7th and 8th December 2016.
OpenWorks sent a team to Quantico US Marine Corps Base in Virginia to compete in the MITRE Challenge, countering UAS threats.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police are working hard to ensure they have the tools required to carry out their duties, especially when it comes to countering the threats posed by drones.
The APPS have acknowledged drones as a threat that needs to be taken seriously. A counter UAS working group share experiences and knowledge to ensure that the high profile individuals across the world are adequately protected.
The Minister of State for Defence Procurement, Mr Philip Dunne MP, and Mr Guy Opperman, MP for Hexham, visited OpenWorks Engineering for a demonstration of the SkyWall100 portable drone defence system.
