OpenWorks Awarded £2M in Contracts as 2022 Closes Out

OpenWorks is pleased to report it has received contracts for the new Vision Flex CUAS systems and SkyWall Patrol with an initial value of £2 million.

The contracts are for customers in Europe and the Middle East and deliveries are planned in the first and second quarter of 2023. Training for the SkyWall Patrol will be provided at the training facilities at OpenWorks in the North East of England prior to equipment arriving with end users.

James Cross, OpenWorks Founder and Director said:

“Our sales continued to grow throughout 2022 and the large orders received at the end of the year, from world-leading government and military authorities, made the whole OpenWorks’ team very proud. The latest product to be released, Vision Flex CUAS, offers an industry leading optical tracking and classification capability; and the additional influx of orders for this new system has not come as a surprise to our team. 2023 has started with further excitement and pre-planned production for the first half of 2023 has already been allocated.”

.

Vision Flex CUAS provides the highest performance tracking and classification capability available, specifically designed for dynamic air targets. Vision Flex CUAS optical systems are highly configurable and can be used with built-in twin-AI modules or 3rd Party classifiers and trackers.

.

SkyWall Patrol was first deployed by the German Federal Police in 2016. It is a well-developed product and has since been delivered across the whole world. It provides a handheld capture capability that far exceeds the performance of any other available system. It is a compressed air-powered launcher with a built in targeting system. It is commonly deployed from within a vehicle but has been tested from a coastguard boat by one of our customers.”
